Grace A. Oberg Malkin, 89, died Sunday morning, December 21, 2014 at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Mrs. Malkin, born December 12, 1925, in Portland, Oregon, had last resided at Van Mall in Vancouver, Washington. She retired from Farmers Insurance in Portland, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Udel "Bob" Malkin in 1991; her parents, Violet Hertig Oberg Fasken and Edward Oberg; Glen Oberg, an older brother; and Ora Baggenstos, a younger sister. She is survived by her youngest sister, Armella Donnelly and husband Bob Donnelly, of Henrietta, New York; and many nieces and nephews. A crypt-side funeral was on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum in Portland, Oregon at 0319 SW Taylors Ferry Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Temple Beth Israel.
