Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Rumberger, pioneer resident were held Saturday afternoon at the family residence on North Second Street and were attended by many relatives and friends. Rev. H. J. Behney, former pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs. Rumberger had been a member 60 years and a Sunday School teacher for more than 40 years, had charge of the memorial rites. Mr. Behney paid high tribute to Mrs. Rumberger's religious activities and her Christian life. Burial was in the family plot in Shamokin Cemetery.
