Rachel Lee (Terry) Adams, 84, of Cunningham, went home to be with her Lord at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Mills Health and Rehab Center in Mayfield. She was born on May 28, 1930 to William and Delma Terry of Bardwell.
She was a devoted and loving mother, homemaker, and former employee of Deena, Brown Shoe, and NCI, and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cunningham.
Rachel is survived by her four sons and their families: Ronnie Adams (Freida) of Las Cruces, NM; Terry Adams (Christina) of Greensboro, NC; Billy Adams (Debbie) of Benton, KY; Mark Adams (Gina) of Brentwood, TN. She was the proud grandmother of eight loving grandchildren: Chris, Lori, Kindra, Shanna, Chad, Tyler, Joanna, and Tiffany, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, of fifty-nine years; daughter, Marsha Adams and son, Stanley Adams, her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell, with visitation at 5 p.m. Friday, December 26. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
