Gloria M. (Manfredi) Cross, 83 of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Monongahela, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 in Autumn Hills Care Center, Niles, Ohio. Born March 1, 1931, in Monongahela, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Canepelli) Manfredi. A homemaker, Gloria was a graduate of Monongahela High School and was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed working with arts and crafts, volunteering her time at the local hospital gift shop and the welcome wagon. Surviving are her husband, Charles C. Cross, whom she married on Valentines Day in 1953; and two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne R. and Debbie Cross of Ringgold, Ga., and Clifford C. Cross of Carmel, Ind. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Manfredi; and three sisters, Norma Bardi, Jean Jones and Dolores Urbank. Friends will be received at the MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, marshallmarrafuneralhome.com from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday with services beginning at 11 a.m. with Father William Terza officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
