Mr. Olin C. Adamson, 94, of Fort Seybert, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday morning, December 23, 2014 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

He was born October 26, 1920 and was the son of the late Jasper Henry and Mattie Susan Pope Adamson.

On January 31, 1941, he married Mary Alice Teter Adamson, who preceded him in death on December 19, 2006.

Olin was a graduate of Franklin High School and had attended Potomac State College.

He was a farmer and a member of Fairview-Bethel Methodist Church, where he had served as church treasurer.

He was a member and Past Master of Pendleton Lodge A.F. & A.M. 144.

He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Valley Shrine Club, member of the Pendleton County Farm Bureau, Past Director of the Potomac Valley Soil Conservation District, and a member of the Franklin Lions Club.

Surviving are – One daughter – Jane Ann Conrad & her husband, Steve of Ft. Seybert, WV

Three sons – Robert O. “Bob” Adamson, and his wife, Nancy of Fort Seybert, WV

William H. “Bill” Adamson and his wife, Lorrie of Naperville, IL

Benjamin L. “Ben” Adamson and his wife, Teresa of Fort Seybert, WV

One sister – Mildred Gilkeson of Fort Seybert, WV

Two brothers-in-law –Eston Teter of Fort Seybert, WV
H. Byrd Teter and his wife, Vera of Franklin, WV

Eight grandchildren - Ten great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Teter, and a brother-in-law, William Gilkeson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Fairview-Bethel Methodist Church at Fort Seybert.

Interment will be at Fairview-Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, December 26 at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.
