Curtis David Hopkins, 70, of Gainesville, GA, formerly of Decatur, GA, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at home with his family. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a "master of all trades".

He is survived by his children, Nancy Hope King, David Kent Hopkins, Hayley Jill Brown and Kimberly Ann Van Deusen; 7 grandchildren, Sara, Jill, Jake, Rachel, David, Helen, and Kendrick; great granddaughter, Emilie; and two sisters, Hazel Suddeth and Dorothy Adamson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs, Dec 20 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. James Styles will officiate. Burial will follow in Melwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society, Bldg 408 NAS Atlanta, 1000 Halsey Ave, Marietta, GA 30060.
