Duane Veryl, son of Richard James and Maude Josephine (Wadsworth) Larson was born in Panama, Iowa. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Virginia Sisson on November 19, 1945. To this union were born two sons and one daughter, Duane Jr, Lynn, and Lori.
Duane served in the Merchant Marines in WWII.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years and his children and 10 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchilren with two on the way.
