She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Craig Pearson; and grandsons, Brandon Peters and David Pearson.
Survivors include her husband, Milo R. Pearson of Tuscaloosa; daughters, Brenda R. Peters of Huntsville, and Wendy P. Roberts (Ted) of Tuscaloosa; son, Mark S. Pearson (Susan) of Fredericksburg, Va.; sisters, Musa Taylor of Ohio, and Carol Baer, of N.Y. ;parents, Raymond H. Baldwin and Musa L. Warner; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was born in Binghamton, N.Y. on October 3, 1931. She loved high school football and that is how she met her husband, Milo Pearson. The high school sweethearts were married In Dec. of 1951. She moved to California in 1952 where she gave birth to four children. She moved to Alabama with her family in 1969. While living in Alabama, she devoted her life to her family and her church.
Pallbearers will be William Roberts, Billy Atkins, Bryant Green, Joe Phares, David Seale, Paul Skelton, Cecil Strickland, and Ronnie Tate.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Nix, Dr. Regina Harrell, Emmanuel Baptist Church Senior Sunday School, and Always There caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Missions, American Diabetes Association , and Alzheimer's Association .
