Graveside services for Mae Cee King of Vaiden will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, at Michie Cemetery near Vaiden. Rev. Doug Warren will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. King died of heart failure at her home on Saturday, December 20. She was 91 years old. Mrs. King was born on May 5, 1923, to the late Nicholas and Lilla Carter Edwards. She was the widow or the late Clayton Earl King. Mrs. King was a homemaker and a retired factory worker, and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church near Vaiden.
Mrs. King is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Downs and her husband, Sonny, of Vaiden; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim King, Lamar Burrell, Jerry O'Briant, Kenny King, Steve King,
and Johnny Burrell.
