GALVESTON — Gail Anne Schulz Hester, 54, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at her home in Galveston. Family and friends will hold a private celebration of Gail’s life at a future date.
Gail was born December 19, 1958, in Galveston, Texas. She graduated from Ball High School in 1977, and for many years worked in the Trust Department of First Hutchings Sealy National Bank. Gail was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt as well as a loving daughter, sister, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Hubert “Sonny” Schulz, Jr. and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors include mother, Connie Schulz; sons, Cody Hester and Dustin Hester and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Jillian, Dylan, and Daniel Hester; her loving partner, Arthur Benson. Also sharing in her loss are brothers H.C. Schulz (Cindy), Bob Schulz (Patsy), Stephen Schulz (Gretchen), and Mark Schulz (LaNae); many special nieces, nephews and cousins, and lifelong friend Sandi Burke.
