Blanche Christophersen Taylor, 71 died September 14, 1976 in Salt Lake Hospital, following a long illness.
She was born September 13, 1905 in Salina to Lars and Anna Jensen Christophersen. She married Owen E. Taylor, November 1, 1924 in Aurora. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti L.D.S. Temple. She was active member of the L.D.S. church.
Survivors include her husband; four sons and two daughters. Elton, Salina; Arland, Las Vegas, Nevada; Edgar, Nome, Alaska; Don, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Burke (Anna Rae) Johnson, Aurora; Mrs. Gerald (Donna) Comish, Murray; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, sister, Vigo Christophersen, Burbank, California, and Mrs. Olga McKenna, Midvale.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 18th, in the Salina First Ward, with Bishop Lynn Reynolds conducting.
The program arranged by the family was as follows: Family Prayer, Elton Taylor; Prelude and Postlude Music, Helen Leaming; Invocation, Burke Johnson; Remarks, Bishop Lynn Reynolds; Tribute, Janet Beach; Speaker Lloyd Johnson; Song "Beyond the Sunset", Double Trio, Billie Lou Johnson, Virginia Sorenson, Thora Ottley, Rosalie Colby, Judy Forsythe, Gayle Johnson, accompanied by Jackie Johnson; Speaker, Bernice Mickelsen; Solo, "Wonderful Mother of Mine", Evelyn Jacobsen; Benediction, Spencer Rees; Dedication of Grave, Merrill Thompson.
Burial was in the Pioneer Cemetery, under the direction of Peterson Mortuary.
