Afton Poulson, 13, was perched on a fence in her play when a bullet struck her in the left shoulder. No clue had been obtained as to who fired the shot. The supposition is that it was a spent bullet.

Afton is survived by her father, her mother, Mrs. Lydia Anderson Poulson; three brothers, Harold, Earl and Lyman, and a sister, Mrs. Estella Poulson Sharl, who lives at Rexburg, Idaho.
