Major League Baseball Player. Born Frank Lloyd Coleman in Ontario, Canada, he was a first baseman making his debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 12, 1942. For six seasons, he played primarily as a pinch hitter with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1942-46) and New York Yankees in 1947. He ended his career with a record of 130 hits, 15 homeruns, 106 runs batted in and .228 batting average. After his playing career, he returned to his hometown and founded the Eager Beaver Baseball Association. He died in Ontario, Canada, at the age of 64.
