Died: December 21, 2014

U.S. Veteran Bobby Gene Lowe, age 81, died December 21, 2014 at his home in Sikeston, MO.

Born June 23, 1933 in Formosa, Arkansas son of the late Arlie and Ellie (Bowling) Lowe. He was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ, a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War, a member of Franklin Roosevelt Masonic Lodge in St. Louis and operated Lowe's Wrecker Service and Salvage Pool.

On February 13, 1959 in North Little Rock, Arkansas he married Barbara (Adams) Lowe; she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Bobby R. Lowe of Arkansas, David W. Lowe of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Brian E. Lowe and Darren W. Lowe both of Sikeston; one sister, Kay Ross of Little Rock, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 1:30 p.m. Johnny Hester, pulpit minister of Shady Acres Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Lowe, Alan Lowe, Carson Lowe, Nick Feulner, Justin Freeman and Mike Mitchell.
