Passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born March 22, 1944 in St. Louis, MO. She married William W. Wicker on Dec. 23, 1967.
Shirley was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brentwood, MO. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Beacon Chapter #256, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Grand Cross of Color of St. Louis Assembly #3, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She was a very generous person and always gave a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved to play the piano, cook, crochet and cross-stitch.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill, her parents (Mayo Halt and Ruby Benfield), and her brothers Jerry and Charles Whitney. She is survived by her son William Wicker Jr. of St. Louis, MO, daughter Deanna Noseff (Michael) of Ellisville, MO., one grandson, Andrew, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
