Verna Lucille Walker, loving mother and grandmother passed away November 27, 2014. Born April 16, 1927 in Anna, Illinois to Cuba St. John.
She loved her grandson Cory and helped raise him. Verna loved her dogs. She enjoyed living in different places (she was always moving) and being a loyal friend. She would be there for you when no one else was and would believe in you when no one else did. She enjoyed going to Wendover and doing puzzles at Silver Pines with her friends.
Survived by daughter, Valerie Walker and grandson Cory Patton. Private services will be held at a later date.

Verna was married to the actor Clint Walker (Norman Eugene Walker, 1927- ) from 1948-1968. They had one daughter, Valerie Jean (born 1950).
