Hester “Tick” Albritton Jr., Age 88, of Mayfield died Saturday December 13, 2014 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
He was a member of the High Point Baptist Church in Mayfield, an Army Veteran, and retired from Union Carbide.
Mr. Albritton is survived by; son, Tommy Dale (Kathy) Albritton of Murfreesboro TN; two daughters, Diana (Bobby) Weekley of Magadore OH, and Karen (Larry) Grooms of Mayfield; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; wife, Gladys Martin Albritton; sister, Kathleen Armstrong; parents, Hester Sr., & Nora Evans Albritton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM Wednesday December 17, 2014 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. Rev. Al Cobb will officiate. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Brent Stephenson, Nathan Albritton, Mitchell Grooms, Jeremy Flowers, Thomas Clifton, and Jonathan Grant will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 11AM-2PM Wednesday December 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
