Mary Lena "Lena" Arpan is the daughter of Clemet Arpan and Lena Pravancha. Lena first married William R. Johnson in 1888 in Wyoming. Mary Lena and William had children named Mary Angie and Willis Riley Johnson. Later Mary Lena married Edward Burton Tway 25 Jun 1895 probably in Wyoming. Mary Lena and Edward had children named Thomas Burton, Eliza May, Florence Dora, Lawrence B. Tway Sweeney and Ida Amelia Tway Sweeney. Later Mary Lena married General Marion Sweeney 31 Jan 1906 in Butte County, South Dakota. With the marriage to Lena, General became an instant father to the children of Mary Lena and Edward Tway. Lena's son Lawrence and step daughter Marie Jennings had an infant son named Warren Jesse Sweeney who is also buried in Beaver Lodge Cemetery.
