Julie was born on April 4, 1961, to Ted and Margaret Mae (Thompson) Love, at Ardmore, Okla. Julie worked at Sunshine Industries as a pen constructor. She loved to dance. She taught her nieces and nephews that they should always look at people as being different and that diversity is a good thing. Julie loved to color with her family and was always writing.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ted Love; brother, Teddy Love; nephew, Ben Love; and nephew, Michael Holybee.
Julie is survived by her mother, Mae Love, of Ardmore; and partner, Ann McKee; sister, Mary Russell, and husband, Steve, of Dickson; sister, Corlis Holybee, and husband, Mike, of Ardmore; brother, Tom Love, and wife, Phyllis, of Lone Grove; 22 nieces and nephews, and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Holybee, Joe Hunter, Todd Campbell, Jordan Ross, Roy Chew Jr., and Brad Love.
The family of Julie would like to thank the staff of Whispering Oaks Nursing Home and Faith Hospice for their care of Julie.
Visitation will be held on this evening December 21, 2014, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin~Hillcrest, Ardmore, Okla.
