Daughter of Arthur & Oriphise Baker. Wife of Call Frederick Fowler, Sr.

Mrs. Lonnie Baker Fowler, 69, of Greensboro, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Beacon Place. 

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with Pastor John Marks officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Monday prior to the service. 

Mrs. Fowler was born July 6, 1943 to Arthur and Oriphise Baker. She was married to the late Carl F. Fowler. She worked for the Masonic and Eastern Star Home for over 20 years as an RNA and part time for Triad Lanes. She was a devoted, loving and giving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. 

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her sons, Carl Fowler Jr. (Judy), Jim Fowler (Jennifer), Glen Fowler and his fiancée Bonnie Newcomb; grandchildren, Brennan and Skyler Fowler, Ashlyn and Lauren Travis, Dylan Freeman, Austin Humble, Reade Salerno, Rachel McGee, Samantha Newcomb, Jennifer, Jason, and Jacob Coffer; sisters, Dottie Loth, Rosemarie Barber, BJ Boyer (Louie), Arta Janish, and Bonnie Dean (Kendall);brother, Arthur “Jr” Baker. 

The family would like to thank Hospice and especially nurse Kelli, for their exceptional care. The family requests that donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
