Teresa M. McLaughlin 78 of Farmington, Minnesota passed away peacefully on December 19, 2014.
Teresa was born on November 11, 1936 in Pierre, South Dakota and was raised on a ranch in Midland, South Dakota.
Teresa graduated in 1955 from Midland and then went to nursing school in Pierre. In 1956 she married Raymond McLaughlin and had eight wonderful children. In 1972 they then moved to Farmington due to her husband’s illness. They owned and operated the Gambles store in Farmington for many years. Recently she was working for Marshall Lines Bus Company. Teresa enjoyed helping her family in many ways: fishing, crocheting blankets and many other things, Teresa loved seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with her dog Chance.
Teresa is preceded in death by her husband Raymond; parents Ernest and Bessie Nemec and brother-in-law John Fosheim.
Teresa is survived by her children: Raymond, Valerie and husband Thomas Scheffler, Penny Ure, Larry and wife Julie, LeRoy and wife Paulette, Kevin and wife Betty, Deborah and husband Marvin Karnick and Michelle Melby; 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings: Ernie and wife Laurel Nemec, Sally and husband Don Ehlers, Judy Fosheim, John Nemec and Thomas and wife Theresa Nemec; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Farmington, Minnesota with visitation 2 hours prior to Mass at Church.
Private interment will be at Riverside Cemetery Pierre, South Dakota.
