GASTON--Services for Elizabeth Danielle Wooten, 7, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary, Muncie. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery. Calling will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and a half-hour before services Saturday at the mortuary.
Elizabeth was born in Muncie and had lived in Gaston for 5 years. She was a student at Gaston Elementary School, where she was in the Multi-Age Program. She had called and spoken to President Bill Clinton. She was a member of Brownie Troop 520.
Survivors include her parents, Rick and Charlene Abbott Wooten; a brother, Rick Edward Wooten; three sisters, Brenda Nicole Abbott and Amelia Dawn and Courtney Lynn Wallis; maternal grandmother, Brenda Stanley; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Wooten; maternal great-grandmother, Thelma Anthony; and stepgrandfather, Rick VanNatter.
