Jack Dempsey Pate, 52, of Dora, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at Baptist Medical Center-Montclair. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Bell Funeral Home with burial in Lawler Cemetery. The Rev. Keith Owens will officiate. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home will direct.
He is survived by his sons, Jack Brandon Pate, and his wife, Tiffany, of Sacramento, Calif. and Wesley Pate, of Alabaster; grandson, Tyler Pate of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers, George Pate of Parrish and Floyd Pate of Grayson Valley; sister, Martha Harris of Hoover; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
