Melissa A. Gonzalez, age 45, of Port Clinton, died Tuesday night at Fremont Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1965 in Amherst. She has lived in Port Clinton for over 20 years, having grown up in the Berlin Heights area. She was a homemaker. She collected dolls and loved watching movies. She attended Wayside Temple in Castalia.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years Ruben, a daughter Marissa, of Port Clinton, three sons, Ruben Jr., of Marion, Johnathon, of Port Clinton, and Matthew, of Port Clinton, her mother Letha Davis, of Huron, one granddaughter, sisters Connie (Mike) Stiltner, of Collins,Rebecca Davis, of Collins, brothers Arthur R. (Cindi) Davis, of Norwalk, and Adam (Kristina) Davis,of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Theresa Gonzalez, and her father Arthur Davis.
Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm at the Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Pastor Rusty Yost will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
