Carolyn Deloris Horton was born March 16, 1954 to Ralph (Rocky) and Birtty Thompson in Iola, Kansas. She departed this life December 14, 2014 in Tulsa at the age of 60 years, 8 months, and 28 days.

She attended Bristow Public Schools; spending most of her life living in Bristow and Sapulpa. She enjoyed riding her “trike” (three wheeler), shopping, deer hunting, playing golf, gardening, keeping up with friends on facebook, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Michael Dewayne Barnes of Kellyville, Clifford Everett Barnes of Kellyville and Lonnie Wayne Barnes of Bristow; 2 brothers, Ralph S. Thompson of Bristow and Jerry L. Thompson of Kellyville; two half brothers, Rocky Glen Thompson and Roy Dale Thompson both of Bristow; one half sister, Rhonda Kay Thompson; step father, Mike Mondier of Sapulpa; two step brothers, Pat Mondier and Mikie Mondier both of Sapulpa; Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Russell Thomson (Rocky) and Birtty Mondier; two brothers, Reece DeWayne Thompson and Richard Eugene Thompson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel with Richard Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at the Bristow City Cemetery.
