Mrs. Karen Lynette Smith Lowe, age 47 of the Huntsville Hill Community in Helenwood, TN, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Pioneer Community Hospital of Scott. Born September 20, 1967, she was the daughter of Herbert and Lucille Duncan Smith. Karen was a member of the Paint Rock Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Leland and Helen Duncan, and Ike and Della Smith.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband: Ricky Lowe; son: Dustin Roysden and wife Blake of Helenwood; daughter: Hallie Daugherty and husband Brian of Paint Rock; 2 step-children: Savannah Yancey and husband Cody of Huntsville, and Kayla Lowe; 4 grandchildren: Kinley, Gracie, Brylie, And Ariel; 4 step-grandchildren: Ryan, Braxton, Bailey and Lily; 2 great grandchildren: Rylan and Conner; sisters: Kandi Roberts and husband Zane of Helenwood, Kristy Boyatt and husband Barry of Strunk, KY: and Mary Lou Branim and husband Gary of Robbins; nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, and they loved their "Sissy" so much: Skylor, Jacob, Storm, Jerico, ShaDonna, LaNeisha and Braylynn; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives, as well as a host of friends to mourn her passing.
Friend may visit with the Lowe family on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6 p.m. until time of funeral services at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jennings Terry and Bro. Johnathan Gibson officiating. Music will be provided by Sammy and Janet Yancey, Seth and Danielle Yancey, and Annesia Burress.
Karen will be laid to rest on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Peaceful Rose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Roberts, Storm Roberts, Skylor Butler, Jerico Pope, Ryan Daugherty and Braxton Daugherty. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Braylynn Roberts, ShaDaonna and LaNeisha Bjoyatt, HJames and Steve Duncan.
