On June 20, 1947, she married the love of her life Jesse J. Lambert. They lived in West Virginia until they moved to Whittier, CA, and then to Oregon in 1972.

Regina spent most of her working career in the banking industry and later as a teacher assistant at Green Elementary School and prior to her husband's death in 2001 had enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. Regina enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her church. She was a very active member of the Dillard-Winston Methodist Church prior to becoming ill and she took an active role in the senior's center, food bank and the Winston community.

She is survived by her two daughters Tonya Lambert of Atlanta, GA; Myra McManus and her husband Edward of Roseburg; her grandchildren Nathyn McManus, James McManus of Portland, and Melanie McManus of Beaverton and her great-grandson Ryder Lewis. She also has two nephews, Stephen Fortney and wife Evonne and their children of Whittier CA, and Doug Fortney and wife Kathy and their children of LaVista, CA.

The family would like to extend a special appreciation to Gloria Jones who made it possible for her to stay at her home for as long as possible and to Lisa Black for all of the extra care especially in her last days. We would also like to express our gratitude for all of the prayers and acts of kindness from all of our friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dillard-Winston Methodist Church on 4th Street in Dillard, with a reception to follow after the service.
