Thomas L. "Tom" Reynolds, Jr., 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Jackson, MS.
Tom is survived by his son, Dr. Jeff Reynolds and wife Donna, his daughter, Susan Reynolds-Dover and husband Don, and his son, Rev. Pete Reynolds and wife Debbie; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Inda Laney.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas L. Reynolds and Undine Meyers Reynolds; and his wives, Patricia A. (Pullen) Reynolds and Geraldine A. (Hawthorne) Reynolds.
Tom was born in Meridian, MS on August 12, 1937 and lived there until 1947 when the family moved to Kosciusko, MS where he graduated high school. Tom graduated from Holmes Junior College in 1957 and Mississippi State University in 1960 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Tom was employed in many capacities in civil engineering, land surveying and construction. Tom and his family moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in November 1973. He retired in December 2002 and remained on the Coast until January 2010 at which time he moved with his daughter and son-in-law to Findlay, Ohio.
Tom also retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard and the U.S. Army on February 3, 1998 after 23 years of service with units in Durant, Forest, Kosciusko, Gulfport and Camp Shelby.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday, December 20 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 21 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
