YOUNGSTOWN: LEROY WILLIAMS III, 36, passed away December 13, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital unexpectedly.

Leroy was born September 29, 1978, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to the late Leroy Williams Jr. and Cassondra L. Montgomery.

A graduate of Mansfield Sr. High School, played football and took 3rd in the State Wrestling Tournament in the 215 lbs. in 1997.

Leroy leaves to cherish in his memory, his mother, Cassondra (Larry Williams) Montgomery, of Mansfield; two sisters, Juanez Hampton, of Fairview Heights and Lauren K. (Levar) Montgomery, of Mansfield; a brother, Curtis O. (Charity) Montgomery, of Mansfield; two aunts, Marilyn Montgomery and Shirley M. Blue, both of Mansfield; two uncles, Anderson Montgomery, of Minnesota, and Horace Montgomery, of Alabama; two sons, Devin Leroy Williams, of Mansfield, and Leroy Williams IV, of Youngstown; a daughter, Chelsea Lynn Williams, of Youngstown; maternal grandmother, Mozella Montgomery, of Mansfield, and paternal grandmother, Mayme Metcalfe, of Centerville, Illinois; special cousins, Mario D. Montgomery, Andre D. Montgomery, Marcello D. Montgomery, Jared M. Montgomery, all of Mansfield; Mozella L. (Dwan) Montgomery, St. Louis, Missouri, and Marcella D. (Christian) Montgomery, of Mansfield; a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his father and uncle.

The services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 11 a.m., with one hour prior calling at Small's Funeral Services, 326 Park Avenue West, with Rev. Scott Logan officiating. The burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
