Clyde K. Hopping, 95 of Milan passed away Friday December 12, 2014 at Ripley Crossing in Milan.
Clyde was born Sunday August 3, 1919 in Harrison, OH the son of Forest and Ella (Donaworth) Hopping. Clyde married Lucille (Stoehr) Hopping, October 1941 and she preceded him in death November 1993.
Clyde worked at Aurora Casket Company as a welder retiring in 1994 after 34 years. He enjoyed farming, working in his garage, being outside and riding his quad.
Clyde is survived by Sons: Charles (Ruby) Hopping of Milan; Robert Hopping of Ross, OH; Raymond (Maggie) Hopping of Milan; Clyde Jr. Hopping of Osgood. Daughters: Bonnie (Richard) Goyette of Punta Gorda, FL; Anita Turner and Fiancé Tim Sturgeon of Batesville. Sister: Martha Lee of FL. 16 Grandchildren; 36 Great-Grandchildren. 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucille Hopping, and one son: James William Hopping, one sister: Leona Taylor.
Funeral services will be Wednesday December 17, 2014; 11AM at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery south of Milan. Visitation will be Wednesday December 17, 2014 9AM-11AM also at the funeral home.
