"Tracy W. Keene, aged 73, of Gilbertsville died June 23, at the Knight Nursing Home in Wells Bridge after an extended illness. Mr. Keene was born December 26, 1886, in Madisonvile, Pa., the son of William and Annie (Austin) Keene. He married Lillian McNally in 1908. She died in 1920. In 1922, he married Susie Meader. She died in 1956. He had lived in the Gilbertsville area since 1927 except for about 10 years in Watervliet, 1939 to 1949. He is survived by three sons, Joseph, Gilbertsville; John, Gloversville; Harry, West Edmeston; one daughter, Mrs. Leslie Armstrong, New Berlin, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Moore's Funeral Home, Gilbertsville, the Rev. Roger L. Beach, pastor First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery."
