OBITUARY OF CHRISTIAN J. CHRISTENSEN

MOUNT PLEASANT, UT, May 11 - Christian J. CHRISTENSEN, an early resident of this city, died yesterday after a five weeks' illness from typhoid fever, which he contracted while working in the coal camps at Gordon Creek.

Mr. CHRISTENSEN was born in Mount Pleasant, February 11, 1874, of pioneer parents, Jacob and Annie Marburg CHRISTENSEN.

He is survived by his mother and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Perry BRADY of Rigby, Idaho, Mrs. Charles AVERETT of Ogden, Mrs. Albert NORMAN of Fairview, Mrs. Byron WHEELOCK of Mammoth, Henry CHRISTENSEN of Fountain Green, Hyrum, Jens C., Thomas M. CHRISTENSEN, Mrs. Thomas THOMPSON, Mrs. William SHELLEY and Mrs. Ernest McARTHUR, all of Mount Pleasant.

Open-air Funeral Services were held this afternoon and interment was in the City Cemetery.
