Mr. Cleophus Graves, Sr., 92, of Inman, SC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his home. First, he was the husband of the late Ethel Wingo Graves. Most recently predeceased by wife Elvera McDowell Graves.

Mr. Graves, a son of the late Alfred and Cordelia Dixon Graves, was a native of Hot Springs, NC. He was one of twelve children with one surviving brother Ross Graves. He served in the US Army and was a decorated WWII Veteran. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Purple Heart Foundation.

Mr. Graves is survived by sons: Jack (Barbara) Graves of Ware Shoals, SC, Cleophus (Bonnie) Graves, Jr. of Boiling Springs; daughter: Inge (Ted) Easler of Boiling Springs, SC; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs officiated by Dr. David Lancaster. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, Inc., 7008 Little River Turnpike, PO Box 49 Annandale, VA 22003 or charity of one’s choice.

The family will be at the residence, 129 Kimbrell Road, Inman, SC 29349.
