Julie was 55 years old when she passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Paul and Audrey (Ryder) Aloes.
Julie was born in Salem and raised in Lynn graduating from St. Mary's High School, Class of 1977. She graduated from Anna Maria College in 1981 and a masters degree from the University of California at San Diego in 1985.
Julie enjoyed traveling and cruises, motorcycles and her research work.
Julie worked as a research scientist for Harvard, and later for the Siemens-Bayer Corporation.
She leaves four brothers Michael Flynn, Charles, W.J., and Chris Aloes.
