Mark Alan Ladd of Van Wert, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at his residence.

He was born June 11, 1963, in Van Wert, to Marie A. (Lewis) Ladd of Van Wert and Eugene K. Ladd of Van Wert.

His wife, Alma (DeLeon) Ladd, survives of Van Wert.

Other survivors include a child: Eason T. (Michelle Crowe) Ladd of McComb, Ohio; a brother: Michael L. (Renada) Ladd of Convoy, Ohio; sisters: Dr. Lori L. Ladd of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and Lisa D. (Kevin) Hughes of Sylvania, Ohio, and a grandchild: Elena Grace Ladd.

He worked in sewer department for the City of Van Wert.

He was a member of Van Wert V.F.W. Post 5803, and an avid hunter and fisherman and all-around outdoorsman. Mark will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Clark Williman will officiate.

Preferred memorial is American Cancer Society.
