Freda Caroline (Krahn) Hall, 90, died on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at York Hospital.She was the wife of the late Charles F. Hall, Sr.
Freda was born in Baltimore, MD on January 18, 1927, daughter of the late August and Mary (Lawbach) Krahn.
Freda was a homemaker. She attended Upper Room Missionary Church in York. Her family was the most important part of her life, she loved spending time with them.
She is survived by six children, David W. Hall of Red Lion, W. Scott Hall and his wife, Beverly of Mt. Wolf, Rae S. Hall of York, Cheryl A. Miller of York, Bruce G. Hall of York, and J. Dan Hall and his wife, Maria of York; a daughter-in-law, Diane Hall of York; ten grandchildren, Keith, Melissa H., Melinda, Melissa S., Keri, Nathan, Kristen, Heather, Nevin, and Levi; ten great- grandchildren, Troy, Brian, Paige, Alexis, Jacob, Emily, Savannah, Alaina, Parker, and Sydney; four great-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Natalie, Charlotte, and Allie. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles F. Hall, Jr.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation
Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, with the Rev. Dr. Eddie D.D. Miller officiating. There will be a viewing on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret E. Moul Home, 2050 Barley Road, York, PA 17408.
