Cindy was a 1977 graduate of St. Benedict Academy and received her Associate Degree from Mercyhurst University. Cindy had worked for a number of years at Hamot Medical Center, and served on the policy council at G.E.C.A.C., was a school crossing guard, and worked at Stanganelli's and the American Legion Post 771, where she was a board member of the ladies auxiliary. Cindy was also a member of St. Mary's Club, was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, enjoyed horse racing, traveling and camping.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Edward "Fast Eddie" Carson; her in-laws, William and Willie Carson.
Cindy is survived by seven children; one brother, John Shauberger; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Interment will be in Erie Cemetery.
