He is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Booker T. Washington, Sr. and Mary Eloise Howard; a son, Roy Lee Washington, Jr.; a brother, Leroy Booker T. Washington, Jr.; and three sisters, Ruthie Nell Haynes, Mary Ann Rodgers and Betty Harvey.
Left to celebrate memories of his life are his beloved wife, Linda Washington of La Marque, Texas; his son, Michael Tealer of Sommerville, Texas; his daughters, Vonnetta Washington of La Marque, Texas and Angela Tealer of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Frankie (Jessie) Fennell of Midland, Texas and Gloria (Anthony) Cooper of West Texas City, Texas; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
