LOMAX WINSTON-SALEM Elnora Jones Lomax December 12, 2014 Mrs. Elnora Jones Lomax was born in Johnsonville, SC to the late Sam and Louella Rogers Brown. She was a resident of Winston Salem, NC for most of her life where she was a retiree of K & W Cafeteria/ Bakery and a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she formerly served in the gospel choir, was a missionary, and was active in the Sunday school. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by spouses, Ben Jones, Sr. and Fred Lomax; eleven siblings; and a granddaughter, Mikayla R. Jones. Mrs. Lomax departed this life Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Surviving are three daughters, Arnetha Jones of the home; Tammy (Carl) Leslie of Winston Salem, NC, and Beverly Jones, also of the home; two sons, Ben (Lisa) Jones, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC and Michael (Melissa) Jones, Sr. of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Travis Jones, Tiffani Jones, Michael Jones, Jr., Christopher Roseboro, Myles Jones, and Area Leslie; a foster granddaughter, Jade Gaither; a sister, Curley Mae Mitchell of Wilmington, DE; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; a host of dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 12:00p.m., Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 12:30p.m. Interment will be in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
