Fleeta Nutley, 92, of Waco, passed away on December 16, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 17, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, December 18, at Central United Methodist Church, preceded by burial inat Waco Memorial Park at 10 a.m.

Fleeta was born in Penelope, Texas, to the late Charles Lell and Minnie Mae Callaway Nutley. She graduated from high school there in 1939. Fleeta moved to Waco in 1942, where she worked for the Waco Bone and Joint Clinic, retiring in 1995.

She loved her church and was a faithful member. Working in the medical profession using her gifts of caring, compassion, and organization was her joy. She considered her co-workers as her extended family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Nutley and wife, Hettie, of Dallas, Marlin, and Larren Nutley and wife, Billie, of Dallas and Chattanooga, TN.

She will be missed by her cousins, nieces, nephews, and many very close friends. G17
