Her firth husband was James Cornish Archer born 9 April 1913 from New Jersey. Together they had one daughter (living in Stuart, Florida) He died in March 1979 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her second husband was Albert Wenceslaus Smetana born 04 October 1911 in Baltimore County Maryland. He was a retired Officer from the Police Department. He died on February 27th 1999 in Stuart, Florida.

Florence A. Smetana, 89, died Feb. 16, 2006, at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. She was born in Brooklandville, Md., and lived in Stuart for eight years, coming from Belair, Md. Before retirement, she was a cafeteria worker for the public school system in Maryland. She was a member of the Isaac Walton Environmental Club in Baltimore. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Marchant of Stuart; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. SERVICES: Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
