Jack Dale Ledbetter, 63, of Yoder, Colorado passed away on December 16, 2014 with his children at his side.

Jack was born December 1, 1951 to Leo A. and Juanita (Lowder) Ledbetter in Alliance, Nebraska the only child born to this union. He spent his grade school year in Alliance where his father tended ranch before later relocating with his family to Colorado in 1969. He graduated from Plainview High School in Sheridan, Colorado and received his associates degree in Feedlot Technology in Garden City, Kansas in 1972. Jack went on to work at various feedlots across western Kansas and parts of Colorado while training horses on the side. After nearly ten years of service in the feedlot industry he moved on to a career as a line man for Mountain View Electrical Association in 1979. Jack then returned
to his roots of breaking horses, ranching and working at Ordway Feeders,
where he ended his career in 2012.
His pastimes included playing basketball, golf, roping and writing poetry. Jack was fun-loving and when with friends he loved pulling pranks and could always crack a joke. Jack also enjoyed taking part in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He loved watching and playing sports with them and getting together for special occasions.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Leo and mother, Juanita Ledbetter.

He is survived by his three children; Clint and Nikki Ledbetter of Rush, Colorado, Jessica and Rob Faedtke of Yorkville, Illinois and Joanna and Neil Pasko of Sterling, Colorado along with 7 grandchildren; Chantel Ledbetter, Naytona, Jarrett and Averin Faedtke and Andrew, Addison and Aaron Pasko.

A funeral service for Jack was held on Saturday, December 20, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Living Word Community Church in Calhan, Colorado with Pastor Rick Cofer officiating. Burial followed at the Calhan Cemetery in Calhan, Colorado.

Memorials are suggested to the Living Word Community Church 533 Colorado Avenue, Calhan, Colorado 80808 or Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906.

The Love Funeral Home of Limon, Colorado was in charge of arrangements.
