ANTHONY E., LOMBARDI 96, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. He was the husband of Matilda "Millie" (Ciccio) Lombardi for 71 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Henrietta (DeStefano) Lombardi.
Mr. Lombardi was the owner and operator of Lombardi's Service Station before retiring. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Alpine Country Club and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Janice H. Barricelli and her husband, David; a grandson, David Barricelli, Jr. and his wife Wendi and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Alessandro Barricelli.
He was the brother of the late Gennaro Lombardi, Ralph Lombardi, Mary Bozzi, Lottie Masello and Lucy Lombardi.
Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
