Age 91, of Millcreek, he was the son of the late Edward O. and Clara McKinney Wagner.

Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Army/Air Force serving as a Staff Sergeant during WWII and received the European African Middle Eastern Award with 6 bronze stars. He later worked at Talon Ind., Lovell Mfg., Emerson Electric, and Ridgid Kollmann in maintenance, retiring in 1982. He volunteered for "Meals On Wheels" for years and enjoyed reading, playing cards and Western movies.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Rangel, infant brother Jack*; two infant daughters, Diane and Margaret; a granddaughter Jacquelyn Schroeck and a son-in-law Richard Young.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Lucille Gloekler Wagner; three daughters, Corinne Young and Mary Lou Schroeck, husband Rich, all of Erie, and Patricia Bohland, husband Russ, of Deerfield, Mich.; two sons, Michael Wagner, wife Christine, of Phoenix, N.Y., and Senior Master Sergeant, Edward Wagner, wife Melissa, of Bellevue, Neb.; 16 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Rangel, of Lorraine, Ohio, Shirley Hoffman, of Fairview, and Lois Niedzielski, husband Al, of Lake City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
