Reba Pauline (Polly) Stacy Caywood a great lady of the Greatest Generation was born August 6, 1918 on an oil lease in Osage, OK. On December 16, 2014 she was ushered into Heaven to be reunited with her loving husband Kenny, adored son-in-law Lee, precious parents James and Mary Hazel, treasured siblings and many childhood and life-time friends who probably wondered what was taking her so long to get there.

Mother was a campaign worker for any Republican. Her organizations included Lynn Lane Republican Women, charter member of Oklahoma’s First Ladies and volunteer at the Tulsa Boys Home. Mother gave birth to many spiritual children through-out her Sunday school teaching for over 50 years. Mother’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ gave her courage and strength. She was a diligent prayer warrior. Many times over the past year Mother would say, “I’d rather be in my own home but since I can’t, I’m happy at the Broadmoor”. She made many new friends there and always said how kind the people were to her.

We will miss having Mother here with us this Christmas but we rejoice knowing she’s celebrating with those she’s missed and long to see again. Memorial contributions can be made to Southeast Baptist Church or Gideons International. Graveside service 1:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.

Caywood, Pauline “Polly,” 96, retired manicurist, died Tuesday. Graveside service 1 p.m. Thursday, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow. Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel.
