Thomas Landreth's will was listed on page 36 and 37 in: "Guilford County, North Carolina Will Abstracts 1771-1841" compiled and published by Irene B. Webster.

His will was probated in November 1800 and the original appears in Book A, 0221.

In his will he leaves
eldest son, Thomas, 100 acres off west end of plantation; to son, Thomas, 210 acres of land bought off Isaiah Weatherly;
to son John, 92 acres bought off John Doak to be given household furniture as she has furnished her other sons at marriage;
to son Simon, $125 of an obligation on Bennoni Clayton, all his school books;
to son Jedidiah, balance of Clayton obligation $193 on Robert Hannah, and $50 on John Elliott;
to his wife, Martha, whole of the plantation, moveables during widowhood and
to son Asa, to inherit from his mother.

The executors of his will were wife, Martha Landreth, son John Landreth,
Witnesses were John Finley and John Elliott.
