COTTON, Robert G. 77 of Springfield passed away December 14, 2014 in the Eaglewood Care Center. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on Sept 27, 1937, the son of Curtis and Hazel Cotton. Bob retired from Navistar with 36 ½ years of service. He served his country in the US Army. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and Local 402. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Howard and Kenneth. Survivors include his wife Brenda E. Cotton; sons David (Heidi) Cotton and Bruce (Polly) Cotton; daughters Christi Frock and Jennifer (Wayne Holloway) Moore; many grandchildren including Andrew and Jacob Moore; several great-grandchildren; cousins Larry, Keith, Worley, Loren, Leon Johnson and Lois Tong. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A service to honor Bob will be Friday at 1:30PM in the Memorial Home.
