Sarah Pinkston
Former Paris resident Sarah Leona Medlock Barnett Pinkson, 81, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, in Webster, Texas.
A memorial service is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Jones Chapel Baptist Church in Paris.
Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Pinkston was born March 15, 1933, to the late Van Buren and Alma Parilee Medlock, who lived in Paris.
Locally she is survived by a brother: Leonard (Brenda) Medlock of Paris.
She also is survived by three daughters: Peggy (Chuck) Reese of Geneva, Ill., Terra (Ron) Marquette of Castle Rock, Colo., and Mary (Patrick) Chimes of Dickinson, Texas; a sister: Carolyn (Carl) Minton of Dyersburg;
Ten grandchildren: Don (Christen) Reese, Jacquie, Sara and J.P. Reese, Eric, Katey and Andrew Marquette, Matthew, Daniel and Luke Chimes; one great-grandchild: Colt Reese; five nieces; three nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded by a brother, Earl Medlock; and her husband, William Pinkston.
Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas, handled arrangements.
