2LT John Jewett Miller died in Cheshire, England while flying an Avro 504 when the engine stalled and it spun into the ground on April 25, 1918. He was born in Claremont, NH on October 24, 1892; the son of Fred and Carrie (Bartlett) Miller.

He served as a Second Lieutenant with the Royal Air Force 95th Sqdn.

He is survived by his parents.

Burial is in St Michael's Churchyard in Authority, England.
