CLARENCE C. KNOBLAUCH, 69, of 4 Dove St, died at 6 this morning at his home after four years of failing health.
Born Oct. 24, 1901, at Bleecker, he was the son of Edward and Anna Russia Knoblauch. He was a retired machinist, having retired in 1964 from the D H & P Co. He had been a Johnstown resident since 1936. On Dec. 12, 1918 he married the former Miss Myrtle E. Smith who survives.
Survivers in addition to his wife are five daughters, Mrs. Frank Mras and Mrs. Joseph Stegel of Johnstown, Mrs. Antone Ralbovsky Jr. of Gloversville, Mrs. David Hogg of Johnstown RD, and Mrs. Walter Shea of South Walpole, Mass; two sons, Edward and Reuben Knoblauch, both of Johnstown; a Stepson, Arthur Hill of Johnstown; four brothers, Alvin of Johnstown, John of Ephratah and Albert and Robert, both of Blecker; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
